show Abstracthide AbstractIn this project, a 12-day time series of the cold-water geyser Wallender Born in the Volcanic Eiffel (Germany) was sampled. The recovered water was filtered sequentially on 0.2um and 0.1um pore size filters. Additionally, a bulk 0.1um pore size filter sample was taken to recover the entire community in a single fraction. The DNA extracted from the filter samples was to illumina sequencing, followed by genome-resolved metagenomics.
